This is because of a phenomenon known as the “entourage effect” – the appearance that CBD works better in the presence of other naturally-occurring hemp compounds, rather than by itself (regardless of potency).

Is it true that CBD Tincture from hemp isn’t as potent?
This is entirely false. In fact, most cultivars of organic industrial hemp will have a higher CBD content than medical marijuana strains, which are traditionally higher in THC. There are of course fantastic medical-grade CBD oils made from marijuana, but these products – unlike ours here at Lemah Creek Naturals – are not legal in all 50 states (you need a medical card to acquire them).
But is CBD Tincture legal?
It depends on what it’s made from. In late 2018, an updated version of the U.S. Farm Bill was passed into law, legalizing hemp as a crop. All of our CBD tinctures here at Lemah Creek Naturals are made from CBD-rich hemp, meaning we are able to offer shipping to all 50 U.S. states — without the need for a medical marijuana card.
